A proud Racine, Wisconsin native and a current resident of Cudahy, Kyle was a beloved son, sibling, performer, and friend whose joy, artistry, and heart left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know them.
Kyle was more than a name—he was an energy, a presence, a force. Whether dazzling audiences as Carmel Bliss in drag shows or lighting up a Zumba class with his trademark sparkle and rhythm, Kyle lived life out loud and full of love. He was vibrant, magnetic, and unapologetically himself. He inspired confidence, celebrated identity, and created spaces where everyone felt seen.
Professionally, Kyle wore many hats with talent and grace. He recently worked at Landmark Credit Union and previously served as a dedicated Member Response Agent at Educators Credit Union for over eight years. A certified Zumba instructor for nearly a decade, Kyle brought movement and joy to many in the Racine community. He also held positions with Marcus Theatres and was actively pursuing a degree in Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, having previously studied at Gateway Technical College.
But it was as Carmel Bliss—the bold, glamorous, and heartfelt drag persona—that Kyle truly shined. In the Wisconsin drag scene, he was a beacon. His performances were fierce, filled with emotion, and always unforgettable. Off stage, he was just as radiant—a warm, grounded soul who gave more than he ever asked for in return.
Kyle’s sister, Kaye Bye, shared the painful news with friends and fans, remembering her sibling as her rock, best friend, and the kindest soul she’s ever known. “She brought so much joy to everyone, on and off stage,” Kaye wrote. “She was a huge part of the drag community, a true role model, and an inspiration to so many.”
As the community reels from this sudden loss, Kyle’s loved ones are organizing a GoFundMe to assist with funeral costs and support the family during this heartbreaking time. A memorial page will also be created where friends, fans, and fellow performers can share memories, tributes, and moments forever touched by Kyle’s spirit.
